Miguna Miguna Tells Ruto to Replace Sakaja with Havi for the Nairobi’s Top Race

Miguna Miguna on Wednesday implored the UDA party to replace its Nairobi governor candidate Johnson Sakaja with  Lawyer Nelson Havi.

Havi, who has already been cleared by the Independent Boundaries and Electoral Commission (IEBC), is currently seeking Westlands parliamentary seat.

Miguna said the IEBC should clear Havi opining that they cleared Sakaja “erroneously”.

“Uhuru Kenyatta wants to impose Polycarp Igathe on Nairobians. It’s time UDA withdrew Sakaja Johnson as its candidate in Nairobi and substitute him with Nelson Havi,” the Lawyer said.

He took a swipe at Commission for University Education (CUE) saying they must stop playing partisan politics with matters of academic integrity.

Miguna said claims Raila Odinga has a fake degree should also be investigated.

“Let them investigate Odinga’s fake degree with the same speed and thoroughness they have done to Sakaja’s piece.”

Miguna’s remarks come a few hours after Sakaja rubbished the letter by  CUE revoking his Team University degree.

The Senator claimed the revoking was part of desperate attempts by President Uhuru and the deep state to frustrate him.

“To President Kenyatta, I say: Let the people decide. Not even the threats to arrest me will dim our resolve to serve the people of Nairobi. The people of Nairobi have resoundingly rejected your project and are looking forward to electing their own,” he said.
