Gachagua resounds message in Meru terming the region as small shareholders in the national government

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has today resounded the message of shareholders in government. While speaking at a funeral in Tigania Meru county Gachagua urges residents to increase their shares in the government terming the national government as a private entity belonging to those who voted for it.These sentiments can be seen as a response to President Ruto’s who while in Kisumu  yesterday said all Kenyans are equal and there would be no discrimination with regards to political affiliations.

Gachagua who has been on a quest for Mount Kenya Unity, termed the Meru community as minor shareholders having shares of only 47 percent. He expressed worry about the small number adding that they should increase it to sixty percent.

Gachagua reached out to Azimio leaders in the region and those who voted for Azimio to join and support the Kenya Kwanza government ahead if the 2027 elections. He hinted at reconciling all the area leaders including retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and Peter Munya.
